 Integration of YouTube videos

  1. We have, in our online offer, included YouTube videos, which are stored at https://www.youtube.com/ and are directly playable from our website. These are all integrated in the “enhanced data protection mode”, which means that no data about you as user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will the data mentioned in paragraph 2 be transmitted. We have no influence on this data transfer.
  2. By the visit to the website, YouTube receives information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. This happens regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account that you are logged in to, or if there is no user account. When you are logged in to Google/YouTube, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on YouTube, you have to log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as user profile and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research and/or customization of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users that are not logged in) for the provision of needs-based advertising and to inform other users on the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must address the objection to YouTube in order to exercise these rights.
  3. Further information on the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by YouTube can be found in the data protection declaration. There you will also find further information on your rights and setting options to protect your privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy/update?hl=de&gl=de. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Collection of personal data of contact persons of suppliers, service providers and commercial customers

The following personal data concerning you which we receive from you or your employer is processed in our company in the context of the business transaction.

  • Your master data, in particular name and, if requested, function in the company; your contact data, in particular current business address, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
  • If applicable, any other data concerning your employer that is related to the fulfilment of the respective business relationship, such as dealer number, address data, contract data and/or booking data.

The purpose of the processing is the fulfillment of contractual obligations (legal basis is Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) DS-GMO) or due to a legitimate interest (legal basis is Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) DS-GMO), for example, where necessary to assert legal claims and defence in legal disputes.

We will not disclose your personal data to third parties unless you have consented to the sharing of such data or if we are entitled or obliged by law and/or official or judicial orders to disclose such data.

We process your data only as long as it is required to fulfill contractual or legal obligations. If there is no longer a legitimate interest, we will delete the data or, if this is not possible, limit its processing. As a rule, we delete your data at the latest five years after the end of the contractual relationship.

You have the following rights with respect to the personal data concerning you:

  • Right of access,
  • right to rectification or deletion,
  • right to restriction of processing,
  • right to data portability.

Right to objection

You have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation (Article 21 DS-GMO). We will cease the processing of your personal data unless we can prove compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or in the case that the processing is for the purpose of enforcing, pursuing or defending legal claims.

To exercise your rights, please contact the company address given above or the data protection officer (datenschutz@wesemann.com).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe the processing of your personal data by us does not comply with the data protection regulations.
